Nut Butter & Raspberry ‘Jelly’ Breakfast Jar

 

PREP TIME: 5-7 minutes

COOK TIME:  0 minutes

SERVES: 3-4 jars

You will need:

Bottom Layer

2 cups fresh or frozen raspberries

1-2tbsp water

Squeeze lemon juice

Middle Layer

2 cups almond milk or coconut milk

2 tbsp nut or seed butter of choice (natural store-bought or home-made)

1 banana frozen or fresh

1-2 drops natural vanilla extract

2 tbsp chia seeds

1 tsp natural raw honey or raw organic rice malt syrup

Optional 2-4 tbsp of natural pea & rice or hemp protein powder

Toppings

1-2 tsp nut butter of choice

Fresh/frozen raspberries and blueberries

Crushed nuts of choice

Lets make it:

In a high-powered food processor or blender, blend the bottom layer ingredients together until desired consistency i.e. smooth puree or chunky. Add to bottom of jars. Next, add ingredients for middle layer into the same processor and blend together until well incorporated. Add to jars. Add desired toppings and drizzle nut butter over top.
